You book your flights separately, but we've already worked out the sensible way to do it — here are our recommended routes, airlines and timings for this trip.
Our 2 Weeks in Thailand tour begins and ends in Bangkok, so a straightforward return booking into Bangkok (BKK) works well.

London Heathrow has direct flights to Bangkok, which is the easiest option. Gatwick and regional airports are possible but usually add a connection — ask us if you'd prefer one.
Carriers we recommend
Thai Airways or British Airways
Direct from Heathrow to Bangkok, about 11–12 hours with no connection.
EVA Air
Direct from Heathrow to Bangkok, consistently well rated, with your bags checked through.
Qatar Airways, Emirates or Singapore Airlines
A one-stop via Doha, Dubai or Singapore, giving you more choice of times and often a better fare.

A direct flight is the simplest option, at about 11½ hours.
If you'd prefer more choice of times, a one-stop via the Gulf or Singapore adds a few hours but your bags are still checked through. This is a return into and out of Bangkok.
Typical economy return fares are around £550–£1,000 per person.
We must stress that this is indicative only, with fares often rising closer to the departure date and over Christmas and New Year, always subject to availability and change.
On the way out: An evening departure from Heathrow lands in Bangkok the next afternoon — a good rhythm for easing into the six- or seven-hour time difference.
On arrival: We'd suggest a night in Bangkok before the tour to shake off the journey; the city well rewards an extra day.
Coming back: You depart from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi, which is large and busy, so do allow time.
Extend the trip: Why not add a few days on the islands — a short domestic hop — or a stopover in the Gulf or Singapore on the way home?
International flights are booked separately and booked directly with the airline. The recommendations on this page are guidance to help you choose; fares are indicative and subject to availability and change. We don't sell flights or guarantee fares.
