Take a rare look behind the scenes of Bangkok’s legendary silk craftsmanship: in Khun Nippon’s tiny workshop, the heart of Thai heritage still beats in the rhythm of centuries-old looms. Only twelve guests per week are invited to step inside, try weaving a thread themselves and, afterwards, uncover the secrets of the vanished “silk baron” Jim Thompson with a museum curator.
Invitation rather than admission: private studio access exclusively for Asiaventura guests
Hands-on experience: try weaving yourself and take home a silk souvenir
Curator-led tour at the Jim Thompson House
Fair-trade contribution directly supporting the weaving family
Maximum 12 travellers
