A wonderful, refreshing trip with a friendly small group, all well organised thanks to our dear guide who was attentive, available, and full of humour—he always found a solution to everything. I loved discovering this country through various means of transport (train, bicycle, motorbike, rickshaw, boat, raft, etc.), the different activities (cookery classes, calligraphy lessons, and an introduction to meditation), the magnificent landscapes of the rice valleys, the big cities of Hanoi and Saigon, Hue with its imperial citadel, Hoi An—the city of a thousand lanterns—and, of course, the wonderful Ha Long Bay. Superb trip that allowed us to discover Vietnam in three main stages. The visits and activities offered were of high quality and created a good sense of group cohesion. The variety of transport methods added pace to our journeys. The different types of accommodation gave us wonderful, unusual experiences and brought us closer to the local way of life. In Cambodia, the guide, a true professional, introduced us to the fabulous temples and also offered us an immersion into the daily life of the people living by the lake. Exceptional experience. Every day was different, whether in terms of places, landscapes, or activities. The pace was busy but manageable. Thanks to our guide Alex’s excellent knowledge of his country, we were able to discover the culture, food, and some unique and stunning places. Highlights: meeting elephants, bamboo rafting, cookery classes, the railway and floating markets, walking in traditional costumes in the ancient temple, and visiting the Grand Palace. Ventura Travel is the parent brand of specialist tour operators like Asiaventura, responsible for creating small-group, community-based journeys for curious travellers, working directly with local partners and focusing on depth, not mass tourism.
Upon launch in the UK in early 2026, your trip will be protected by the DRSF. DRSF stands for Deutscher Reisesicherungsfonds (German Travel Security Fund). As a Ventura TRAVEL customer, your payments are protected by DRSF, ensuring your money is safe and you are covered in the unlikely event of insolvency. You will receive a security certificate with your booking for your peace of mind.
To give additional comfort to UK travellers, we aim to be ATOL & ABTA protected by the second quarter of 2026 but the DRSF protection is sufficient under the 2018 UK Package Travel Regulations and has been reviewed and confirmed by our UK legal representatives.
International flights are not typically included, allowing you flexibility in choosing your preferred airline and schedule. We can assist with flight recommendations if needed.
Your guide is your first escalation point and can usually assist in the majority of circumstances but if you need to escalate an issue that your guide cannot assist with, we offer 24/7 support via phone and email; emergency contact information will be provided in your travel documents.
Travel insurance is not included in our pricing but is strongly recommended.

Yes, on some trips. Where available, we offer options to extend your stay or add pre- and post-tour nights. Let us know your preferences and we’ll help arrange additional services where possible.
We intentionally keep our groups small to ensure a more personal and immersive experience. The vast majority of our tours have a maximum limit of 12 and on average our tours have around 9 travellers. However a small number of our trips allow up to 16 travellers.
Our tour prices typically include accommodation, most meals, guided activities, entrance fees, and ground transportation. Specific inclusions are listed on each trip page.
